So, I bet you have the same dilemma everyone does. How can I have fun when I don't really have any money to spend on fun stuff? Well, this is a problem most people have, however, don't worry, as there are a ton of ways that you can have fun without even spending a dime! We will examine some ways that you can get into a fun activity for little or no cash, that can bring you tons of quality enjoyment, either by yourself or with friends.
Write. Seriously, how much does a pen and paper cost? Write poetry, write science fiction, write a romance novel, heck, write your biography! You can even use a computer if you have one, and this way you can print it out or email it to friends and/or family to show them what you are working on. And who knows? You might even stumble upon something spectacular, and make some money off of it. Although, the bottom line when it comes to writing is to have fun, not to look at it as a source of income.
Do you have a piano, an old guitar, or even an old violin laying around that you have never even considered playing before? Try learning how to play it. Buy a book, or even go to the library and get some free lessons off the internet, and try learning how to play an instrument. This can be a ton of fun, and doesn’t have to cost you anything. If you don’t have an instrument, consider buying one that is inexpensive, like a harmonica or even a cheap guitar.
Play games with family or friends. Table top role playing games can be a lot of fun, or card games are a great way to have fun too. A deck of cards costs less than a dollar, and they can last forever if you take care of them. Seriously, buy a deck of cards, learn some games, and have your friends over for iced tea and a friendly game of poker. Oh, and you can buy a big container of instant iced tea for under $5, so, don’t worry about breaking the bank with expensive drinks!
Buy a rubiks cube, and attempt to unravel the mystery of the famous device. Seriously, it costs like $5, and I guarantee you that it will take up enough time to satisfy any boring spots in your life! You could even get together with friends, and take turns attempting to solve the puzzle, and when its not your turn, have some good, friendly conversation with those who are also waiting for their turn to solve this incredible puzzle.
Arts and crafts are another inexpensive hobby you could take up, as they are not only fun, but can be very fulfilling as well. These are good projects to take on if you like to be able to see what you have accomplished, and can be very fun in the long run.
