The person who placed this sign obviously knew they could capitalize on their knowledge of QuickBooks software. If they charged $30 per hour and had eight clients per week at two hours each, they would be making about $2,000 each month. There are many different services you could offer in such a way. If there’s a software program you’re good at which other people might not be, well there’s your opportunity. Other services such as home or office cleaning could also be marketed in a similar manner. Just look for businesses in a location where you could place a sign which would be visible to passing traffic. Intersections would be an ideal place for such a sign.
Of course this is only one method to making some fast cash. A money making method which has become popular these days is blogging. What this entails is creating a website through a site like blogger and posting various articles on a specific subject. You can then sign up for Google AdSense which places ads on your blog. When someone clicks on those ads you get paid a commission of what the advertiser paid to have the ad placed on your website. If your blog ends up being popular, you might get many clicks on those ads. It can take some time to get a blog site established, so the cash might not be particularly fast, but it can be a relatively easy way to make money in the long run.
Another thing to remember when considering ways to make extra money is online coupons. While they may not make you extra cash, they can definitely save you money. Almost every time I buy something online, I check a site like Coupon Cabin. Couponmom.com is another good site which has a lot of grocery coupons.
